Camden- Beatrice B. Skinner 71, of Hillsboro Rd., passed away at home Wednesday April 11, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born Mar 26, 1941 in Constantia, NY a daughter of John & Edna Woolridge Auringer. Beatrice was a 1958 graduate of Camden High School. Bea enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends and especially cherished the time spent with her children and grand children. She retired from the Camden Central Schools cafeteria staff in 1996. She had worked in the North Bay Elementary and Camden Middle Schools since 1969. Beatrice was previously married to James Raut, and was predeceased by two husbands, Gordon Smith and Raymond Skinner. She was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church, Fanny Farmers and the Lt. Victor Giles V.F.W. Post #6530 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Christine & Dennis Byrne, Minoa, NY, five sons, Ronald Raut, Mark & Dianne Raut, Jeffrey Raut all of Camden, James & Linda Raut, Constantia, NY and Michael & Claire Smith, Syracuse, several grand and great grandchildren, a sister, Joanne Evans, Bernhard’s Bay, a brother, Robert Auringer, Florida and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 12- 2:oo pm at the funeral home, 109 Main Street.
