Camden- Dodie L. Sweeting 40, of Florence Hill Road passed away unexpectedly on Sunday April 15, 2012. She was born Dec 30, 1971 in Rome, NY a daughter of Joseph & Patricia Piersall Mulvaney. Dodie was a 1990 graduate of Camden High School. Currently a receptionist with the Harden Furniture Company, she had been an employee for nearly 20 years.
Dodie was a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend. She is survived her husband Doug, their boys Ean Douglas and Aaron Jeffrey Sweeting, her Mom and Dad, Joseph & Patricia Piersall Mulvaney, two sisters, Debbie Mulvaney, Donna Cobey and Richie Kroll, all of Camden, three brothers, Joseph Mulvaney and Marie, Bernhards Bay, Jim Mulvaney and Amy, Camden, Jeffrey and Tammy Mulvaney, Palm Coast, FL, sister in law, Ellen Sleeman, Camden, brother in law, Brad Sweeting, Dansville, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Dodie was predeceased by her mother in law, Harriett Strail and a brother in law, Keith Cobey.
Funeral services will be held 7:00pm Thursday from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Private interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be directed to Oneida Saving Bank, Camden, NY to establish a trust fund for Ean and Aaron.

Doug and the Mulvaney Family,
There are no words to say how sad we are about the loss of Dodie. She was a very sweet and kind person. Dodie has been in Dustyn's life since he was 6 months old, he always felt she was like an aunt to him. She will be missed. she will always be in your heart and when the wind blows she is putting her arms around you and hugging you and when the sun shines she is shining down on you with kisses.

To the Mulvaney and Sweeting Families, I just found out about Dodie a couple of hours ago per (Velda Willson). It was very shocking and sad news. I worked with Dodie at Hardens on the furniture repair line. She was a great help to me with training for the job we were doing. She was also a great friend. She was a very proud mother and sister and daughter. I haven't seen her for a number of years, but I have often wondered how she was doing with a second child and marriage to Doug. She was a wonderful gal to work with and I'm very sorry that she is gone! I'm sure her spirit will live on in her boys. God Bless Dodie!

We are no strangers to the loss of a loved one. I lost my daughter''s father in 2008 in a car accident and my father 2 years later. This week my grandfather. I know all too well the pain you are feeling and the ache you have for your children and the tremendous loss the have suffered. I can only encourage you to always remember her with stories and smiles as children love to hold onto every memory.
