It is with great sadness and eternal hope that I say good-by to a man who was the first to show me the love of God. As one of Gordon and Lois' foster children I was fully loved accepted into their family. Those were some of the happiest days of my life. Their gift is one that continues to make a difference. By the Grace of God we will see Gordon when Jesus comes back to take His children home. This is our Hope. God is with you Lois, Valerie, Donnie and David.

I pray that our heavenly Father is close by your side at this sad time. I remember Pastor Gordon Edgerton as a very friendly man and you as well. May you always cherish the memories you had together for so many years. And also the fond hope of reunion on that great resurrection day at the Last Trump sounding.
Love always in Christ our Lord,
Mary Schumpf

My heart goes out to Pastor Edgerton's Family during this most difficult time. Men of God don't come any better than him, and I look forward to seeing him again when Jesus comes back to take us home. Lois was an elementary teacher of mine, and I appreciate her loving care for me as a kid. Praying for everyone.
