The Hayes family,
Orda has been in my life since i was just a baby. She was my grandmothers best friend ( more like sisters). She was such a great women. She loved her family very very much. Just know that you had her for 86 years and now she has gone to be with her family that left us much too early. They will look over her as well as all of you. My fondest memory of Orda is always seeing her at the kitchen table with her cup of coffee talking with my mom mom. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

To all of Orda's loving family,

I first met Orda when she moved to the Camden Apartments where she became a dear friend to my mother-in-law, Barbara Wafer. They were a great pair of ladies who had sharp minds and a spry way about them. They enjoyed sitting out on the apartment lawn on warm summer days. And then there were those times when they kept each other company during thunder and lightening storms. Orda had a life rich with the greatest gift- the love of her family. What more could she ask for. I have no doubt she is watching all of her loved ones in this world as she is reunited with her children, family and friends in heaven. I'll miss her. Linda

Was saddened to learn of Orda's passing. Wish we were in town to give our condolences in person - that is the real downside of moving away - you miss so much local info and ability to do face to face expressions of sympathy! She was a remarkable woman who never showed her own sorrow but gave of herself to others. Can't even imagine the wonderful reunion in heaven that is taking place. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days ahead. Sending you peace and blessings. :( Sorry for your loss.

The Rose family would like to extend their deepest condolences on the loss of a beautiful spirit, Orda Hayes. She was our neighbor for many years in Camden, and was again my Mom''''s neighbor at the Camden Apartments. She was a lovely woman, and she always remembered each of the kids in our family (all 9 of them). She always had a kind word, and our family will miss her. Heaven has gained a true angel.

If it is true that we are shaped and fashioned by those we know and love; I would pick Orda as one of my role models.

There is a time
No one knows the hour
when heaven comes very close
And touches the earth;
It may be the quiet of the dawn,
High noon, or the golden tinted twilight.
In the majesty of the storm
Or the hush of a starlit night;
Earth and heaven are one for a moment;
The Lord God has sent for His own.
A loved one is triumphant in life-time victory!
