Robert J Slate, age 55, of Camden, NY passed away on May 28th2012, at Rome Hospital, after a long illness.
Bob was born in North Syracuse, NY, a son of Francis P and the late Catherine T Slate, of Camden, NY
He graduated from Baldwinsville High School. He was a member of Camden American Legion Post 66 SAL.
Bob is survived by his father, Francis Slate, his daughter Charlene & Jason Burgett of Phoenix, NY her mother Suzanne Slate of Phoenix NY, a brother Kevin & Mincey Slate of Cleveland, NY, sisters, Karen & Ted Kenealy of Camden, NY, Judi & James Beischel of Phoenix, AZ, Jean & Jack Lemmon of Marion, NY, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private, at a time convenient for the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main St., Camden, NY.
