To my extended family, I am so sorry for our loss. Uncle Vern was a good man who always had to time to give you a hand. And man those eyes were lady killers! I have so many memories with Uncle Vern when I was a young kid growing up in Camden. He always took me out snowmobiling, he taught me how to shoot a shot gun, we went off road in his brand new truck, he took me deer hunting, he was my first baseball coach, because of my Uncle I grew up playing ball all my life, heck I still play. The memories will never go away and I will always cherish them! RIP Uncle Vern, I love you!

Although I only met Vern a few times, he was a friend to my son Ken, and husband Ron, both members of the Camden Rod and Gun Club.
They both admired him and spoke highly of him many times and will miss him greatly, I know. Vern's passing is a great loss to not only his family, but also the community. He will indeed be missed.

Only saw Vernon rarely after high school (Class of '69), but all our encounters were so positive and fun. Hard to lose someone at anytime but especially when it feels like we are still so young!! My heart goes out to you.

I am so sorry to hear of Vernon's death. I used to be married to Basil Witchley (deceased) & my children Brenda & Steven spent many hours at Vernon's mom & dad's home so our kids sort of grew up together. I now live in Florida & have been retired for many years. I am so sorry for your loss.
