Rome- Carlton S. Wisheart, Sr. 85, of Rome passed away on Monday September 3, 2012.  He was born on November 16, 1926 in Rome, NY the son of John and Anna Russell Wisheart.  Carlton was an Army veteran of WWII.  He was employed as a warehouseman with Ramsey Distruibution Company of Syracuse for many years. Carlton was a member of the Teamsters Union # 317 in Syracuse. He was a life member of the StanwixVeterans and Men’s Club and the Rome VFW Post # 2246.
     Carlton is survived by two sons, Carl S. Jr. and Linda Wisheart of Blossvale and John and Helen Wisheart of Stittville; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.  He was pre-deceased by a sister Mary Wright and two grandsons Christopher and John Wisheart.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial will be in McConnellsville Cemetery under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY.  There will be no calling hours.
