     Elizabeth M. ‘Betty’ Montgomery, 84, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in Utica, NY. She was born on September 18, 1934 in Forestport, NY, daughter of Ernest & Ida Winters Hebert and was a 1952 graduate of Forestport High School. Betty was united in marriage to Roger J. Montgomery on May 29, 1954 at St. Stephen’s Church in Oriskany, NY. She worked for General Electric then Lockheed-Martin in Utica, NY for twenty years until retiring in the mid 1990’s. She moved to McConnellsville in 1997 from Oriskany where she had lived for nearly thirty years. Betty enjoyed shopping and loved her family. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Church.

     Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Roger J. Montgomery, Cleveland, NY, one daughter, Sharan Keegan, Bellevue, NE, one son, Stephen & Christine Montgomery, Camden, NY, four grandchildren, Joseph & Nikki Keegan, Jennifer & Tony Potmesil, Bryan Montgomery and Kelsey Montgomery, seven great grandchildren, one brother, Joe Hebert and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Susan Elaine Montgomery and one sister, Beatrice Wood.

     A private Memorial Mass will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the North Bay Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 246, North Bay, NY 13123.
