     Susan J. Seymore, 86, of Camden, NY passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Oneida Healthcare Center, Oneida, NY. She was born on November 8, 1932 in Syracuse, NY a daughter of Baxter & Shirley Snyder Brigham. Susan married John ‘Junior’ Seymore on November 25, 1950 in Boonville, NY, he passed away August 14, 1996. She loved cats and enjoyed stopping at garage sales.

     Susan is survived by two daughters, Denise & Alan Piersall of Camden, NY and Lindsey Leuenberger & Tom Sullivan, Uxbridge, MA, six grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, William E. Seymore in 1957, two sisters, Linda Coleman and Sarah Burmingham and one brother, William Brigham.

     Susan’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr.  Matthew McKay and the ICU staff at the Oneida Healthcare Center and to the staff from 4th floor at Oneida Extended Care for their help and compassionate care in their time of need.

     There will be no calling hours, arrangements are under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main St., Camden, NY. Spring graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment McConnellsville Cemetery, McConnellsville, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Camden Volunteer Fire Department or Rescue Squad, 14 Church St., Camden, NY 13316 or a humane society of one’s choice.

So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Susan was the first friend my dad, Ron Kent, made at Extended Care and he was very fond of her. My sister and I enjoyed visiting her while my dad was alive and seeing all of her pictures and talking. I will always remember going in at the end of the month to help her decorate the beautiful cakes she did. She will be missed and thought of often.
