Ruth and I became friends through the Dept. of NY 8 and 40 organization.
Ruth was an exceptional woman. She had a smile for everyone she met no matter how she was feeling. She cherished her family and shared pictures with me of her grandchildren who were the light of her life. I will miss her.

I met Ruth through Oneida county auxiliary. I regret not knowing her as well as I wanted to, she was always so busy with her duties with the auxiliary that she loved so much. I will miss her.
