Elmer Carl Skinner, 94 formerly of Amboy Center, NY passed away January 26, 2020 in Aurora, Illinois. He was born in East Bethany, NY on November 10, 1925, a son of Almond & Elizabeth Skinner. Brothers Earl and Raymond Skinner and sister, Mable (Robert) Whelply preceded him in passing. Elmer married the former Beulah Kellogg and gained an immediate family- daughters Dorothy, Donna, Dawn, Diane and Darlene plus a son, the late Donald ‘Mike’. Beulah later gave birth to Jeannie (Jere) Nelson and Lori Cockrum. The family circle was expanded with granddaughter Lindsey, great grandson Isaiah and grandson, Daryl. Beulah passed away in 1990. Elmer will be missed by many nieces, nephews, their families and best friend, Evelyn Consani.
At Elmer’s request, no services will be held. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, NY. In lieu of flowers, give somebody a hug. Elmer loved hugs.
