Verona- Edward H. Webb 75, of Tilden Hill Road passed away Sunday Sept 11,2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in North Bay, NY on March 5, 1936 a son of Noel & Helen Janes Webb and was a 1955 graduate of Camden High School. On Feb 15, 1958 he married the former Marlene Keil in Trinity Episcopal Church, Camden, NY. Ed served with the U.S. Army from 1958-1960. They lived in the Verona area for nearly 50 years and had been winter residents of Bonita Springs, FL for several years. Ed retired from the Smith-Lee Co., in 1999 after 43 years as supervisor of their maintenance department. Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the AmVets, Rome Polish Home, and the Bonita Springs Loyal Order of the Moose.
Surviving are his wife, Marlene, a daughter, Lorraine ‘Renee’ Clanton & Charles Davis, Verona, a son, William & Linda Webb, Verona, two grandchildren, Joshua & Jason, a special cousin, Peter & Kathy Hewitt and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Audrey and a brother, Noel.
Memorial services will be held 11:00am Friday from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 –8 pm at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to V.V.S. Dollars for Scholars, Verona, NY or the Camden Vol. Fire Dept., Camden, NY.

Renee,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you. You were a very good daughter to him, you were always there for him. You are so lucky to have had that special relationship with him. You will miss him dearly but you know he is at peace now. I will not be able to see you I will be out of town. Dear Marlene and families, so sorry for your loss. We have so often thought of you and Ed and all the fun we had in Fort Lee. Chuck and I are fine. He is still working full time,2 sons,4 grandchildren,1 great grandson and another in Sept. Our love and prayers, Chuck And LENA. Let us hear from you when you feel up to it.
