Gladys E. Delarm, 102, of Taylors, SC, formerly of Camden, died peacefully on December 3, 2012.  For the past 11 years she had lived with her son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Kristine, who were with her at the time of her death.
     Gladys was born August 21, 1910 in Malone, one of 13 children of Andrew F. and Emma Bisonette Ashlaw.  She was previously married to Leo J. Delarm.
     Gladys was a kind and generous person who worked hard most of her life in order to provide a good home for her children whom she loved dearly.  She had an abiding faith in God and valued the many personal friendships she made during her long life.  She was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
     Gladys is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara & Murray Geller, of Las Vegas, NV, Carol & Richard Ryan, of Williamstown, NY, Charlene & Patrick Reader, three sons and daughters-in-law, Alden & Sharon Delarm, of Denver, CO, Robert & Nancy Delarm, of Yuma, AZ, and Michael & Kristine Delarm, of Taylor, SC.  Gladys was predeceased by her sons, Leo, Franklin, and George Delarm.  She had 25 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Since Gladys’ death her daughter, Carol Ryan, passed away February 18, 2013.
     Memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013, at the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden, NY.  This service will be held in conjunction with a memorial service for her daughter, Carol Ryan.  At 11:30 am a joint interment service will be held at St. John’s Cemetery, Harden Blvd., Camden.  A reception in honor of the memory of Gladys and her daughter, Carol, is to follow at Katie and Karl’s Restaurant at 12:00 noon.
