Florence-Constance C. Watson, 72, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013, at home with her loving family at her side. She was born December 25, 1940, in Utica, NY, a daughter of Walter and Mary Zawaly Kran. Constance graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in New Hartford, NY. On March 18, 1961, she was united in marriage to Robert Watson in Seneca Falls, NY. Constance was employed as a registered nurse at many facilities including, St. Luke’s Hospital, Deroah Hospital, NJ, Rose Hospital, Stonehedge Nursing Home, Rome Hospital, and Care Net Pregnancy Center, all of Rome, NY, and substitute nurse for Camden schools. She especially enjoyed working in the woods. Constance was a member of the Living Hope Assembly of God Church, Camden, NY.
She is survived by her husband, Robert S. Watson, two daughters, Carol M. & Bryon Sherwood and Susan E. & Wes Seaton all of Camden, NY, one son, Robert M. & Pam Watson, of Cleveland, NY, eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Joan Sherwood, Lee, NY and Linda & Richard Jerosko, Scotia, NY, and several nieces and nephews. Constance was predeceased by her parents and a brother and his wife, Walter & Janet Kran.
Funeral services will be held, 4:00 pm, Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at the Living Hope Assembly of God Church, 2488 St. Rt. 69, Camden, NY, under the direction of the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main St., Camden, NY. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours are from 1:00 pm-4:00 pm at the church prior to the funeral service. Contributions may be made in Constance’s memory to Care Net Pregnancy Center of CNY, 310 E. Chestnut St, Rome, NY 13440 or the Living Hope Assembly of God.
