John E. DeSenza, Jr., 81, of Camden passed away October 20, 2014, at the Oneida Healthcare Facility.  He was born February 6, 1933 in Oneida, NY, a son of John and Nellie Magee DeSenza, Sr.  John served in the U.S. Navy. On May 17, 1958, in St. John the Evangelist Church, Camden, he married his beloved wife, the former Shirley Seymore.  John retired in 1992 after working many years for the Town of Camden. He loved being outdoors, especially spending time at his camp in Redfield.  John was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening and cutting wood.  He will always be remembered for offering a helping hand to others.
     John is survived by his wife, Shirley, Camden, NY, two daughters, Cynthia & Bud Burnap, Cleveland, NY, and Terry DeSenza, Camden, NY, seven grandsons, eight great grandchildren, a sister, Margaret Palmer, Boonville, NY, a brother, Nicholas DeSenza, Pine Bluff, AR, and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Friday, at the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY.  Interment will be in the Westdale Cemetery.  Calling hours are 5-7 pm, Thursday, at the funeral home, 109 Main St.

Aunt Shirley, Cindy, Terry and all the family: I am so very sorry for the loss of Uncle John. There are lots of great memories! He and Dad are up there having a cup of coffee!
