My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I worked with Robbie until my retirement from SIF. We worked together in the work at home project. He was always friendly and professional.

I never got to meet Robbie in person, but spoke to him everyday at work. He always made me laugh and we would pick on each other all the time. He would send me funny pictures which made me smile when I was having a bad day. He was very special to me and the world has suffered a terrible loss. May you find peace in your family. He will truly be missed. God bless you.

The last time I spoke to Robbie was a couple of days before I went on vacation. He was a great friend and co-worker. I didn't work with him side by side in the same unit, but I did take care of a lot of his bills and especially mileage reimbursements for his claimants. It is so sureal for him to not be here. He will truly be missed. Sending prayers to his family.

I knew Robbie growing up in Camden, NY. Our families have known each other for many years being from a small town. Robbie started working at NYSIF with me which I found to be nice as he kept me updated on some of Camden's doings. He was always very respectful and a nice guy. He will truly be missed. Since I retired in January 2015 I haven't seen Robbie but kept him in my thoughts. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

My condolences to the family & friends of Robbie. Try to keep the good memories in mind. I work at NYSIF & one of my good memories is that Robbie would give me his Kohl's Cash, as he said it it just led to buying unneeded stuff (& he was absolutely correct on that!). However, as it's difficult for me to accept gifts, & Kohl's Cash was actually Money, I would go to Kohl's & buy sports-related stuff for Robbie w/ the Kohl's Cash he gave me, & give those items to him for Christmas (as I Love to shop). Robbie & I also had a common interest in music, so once in a while, we would discuss a concert or musical event. Rest in peace, Robbie.

I send my heartfelt condolences to you. I worked with Robbie at NYSIF, and he was always fun to work with. Usually smiling or making someone else smile. A loving soul, I'm sure he will be missed dearly.

I worked with Robbie and although we did not work in the same area, I would see him every day, either in the hall or going on break or lunch. He always smiled and said hello. My deepest Sympathy to his family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Robbie, I work at State Insurance Fund, not in the same unit as he worked. He had a good sense of humor and was a very nice guy, always said hello. It is hard to believe and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

Every gift from Robbie Michael was heartfelt and shrouded in meaning. Most precious were his gifts of love and friendship. As friends or "brothers", as he would say, Robbie and I helped each other through times of chaos and reveled in times of peace and joy. Robbie Michael was a Writer and a Musician. His creative mind and soul explored the depths of music, literature, and life... and he freely gave countless hours of advice, support, and perspective to friends and family. My deepest sympathy to Robbie’s family and friends… I will never forget you Robbie Michael and I love you... 'Sir Brian'

Robbie was like a nephew to me, and I loved him dearly. Robbie had the most gentle heart and soul. He greatly loved his mother, family, his Goddaughters, friends, and animals. He was always quick to help his family, friends and strangers. Robbie was blessed with many talents and displayed wisdom beyond his years. Robbie was extremely creative, and a gifted writer and musician. Robbie's passing is a devastating loss to his mother, family, and everyone who knew and loved him. My thoughts and prayers are with you Ann, Laura, Karen, and all his family and friends. Love you, Robbie - forever.
