We were as shocked and saddened at learning of your loss. Denya was a beautiful woman - inside and out...a gentle soul who had so much love and compassion for her fellow human beings and more importantly her family - immediate and extended. This loss has such a ripple effect across communities and states...we hold you all so deep in thought and prayer. There just are not enough words to express our heartfelt sympathies. Asking God to hold you all in the palm of His hand in the days ahead.

So sorry to hear of the passing of such an awesome person who I called a friend for numerous years. We went to school together and kept in touch all these years. You will be sadly missed by thousands of people...family, friends, and acquaintances. We all know you will be around checking on all of us and trying to give us advice. When I found out that she was gone I was out back on the patio at Moms house in Florida....as soon as Mom called and told me of this, a yellow butterfly flew up over the fence and landed on the rosebush. I am sure it was her telling me I would be ok. I told her to spread her wings and fly high. My condolences to Tim, the girls, and the family on both sides.

Dear Cassie, Elizabeth & Tim.....I'm so so sorry for your loss, Meeting Denya at a craft fair was the best thing that came out of a rather boring show for me. We became fast friends and had such fun & laughs collaborating her shirts and my tutus. I feel so privileged to have spent February 7th with her at a show in Chaumont, we had such a fun time and a great meal afterwards.
Denya will always hold a special place in my heart as a one of a kind friend, I felt like we'd been friends a lot longer than it really was.
Even though I only met Cassie at the JCC craft show, I felt like I knew the rest of the family, Denya spoke often of you girls and how proud she was of you and your accomplishments. And Tim, she told me many times what a great father & husband you are.
She will be greatly missed by everyone who came in contact with her.

Hugs to you all
Kathie Valentine

Tim, girls, and family,
Please know that my heart shares in the pain of your loss which I was just made aware of. It was our pleasure to have had your BEAUTIFUL family as neighbors. We couldn't have asked for more kind, caring and thoughtful people. Denya was a true LADY!!! She passed that along to you girls. She was one of the BEST mom's I have ever witnessed. You could feel the love. I am rarely at a loss but I find myself at one. I will keep your entire family in my heart and prayers. Love to you all.

We are so very saddened. We were fortunate to have worked with, and love, this beautiful person, in the ER at St. Elizabeth's. Her smile and laughter could light up a room. I know she loved her family deeply and I know she left this world deeply loved by them, and by many. May God Bless and keep her. Sweet Angel, here, and in the Heaven's above.

A more kind, caring, giving woman is hard to find. I can picture her smile, and her genuine concern for others. I had the privilege of having Denya as a student in three different classes during her high school days. All who knew Denya are at a loss of how to offer you comfort at this most difficult time. Please know you are in the thoughts and prayers of hundreds of people who respected, cherished, and truly loved and appreciated Denya.
