Elinor J. Congden, 94, formerly of North Bay, NY passed away on Thursday December 1, 2016 at Colonial Park Nursing Home. She was born April 4, 1922 in Clark Lake, Michigan a daughter of Richard and Pearl Landis Hardy. Elinor served her country with the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII.   On August 9, 1946 she married Clinton Congden in Clark Lake, MI.  Together, they owned and operated Blueberry Hill Farm in North Bay for many years. Mr. Congden passed away in 2007. She enjoyed gardening and sewing and was an active member in her local church and prayer groups.
      Surviving are three daughters Jeanne Rice, Montrose, Colorado, Jeri & Robert Kaier, Oswego, Hebe & David Phillips, Bloomington, Indiana, three sons, Roland Congden, Rome, Steven & Kimberly Rauscher Congden, West Suffield, Conn., Joel & Deborah Dean Congden, Honeoye Falls, 14 grandchildren, Holly, Allison, Erin, Sarah and Keith Congden, Rebekah Whitford, Richard, John and Phillip Miska, Tracy Thomas, Bo Kaier, Emily Cromwell, Adam and Jordan Gottschalk and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by infant sons Ronald and Roy and a granddaughter Sarah Miska.
      Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 6 at 1:00 pm at LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Camden, NY. Calling hours will be from 12-1 prior to services at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Ellie.
What a wonderful person. I would bring Mom but she is pretty stationary right now. I know all of you have great memories of your Mom. Love to all. b.
