      Robert C. Armstrong, 81, of Redfield, NY, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 in North Port, FL. He was born December 16, 1935 in Empeyville, NY, a son of Carl & Jennie Dunn Armstrong. Robert attended Camden Central Schools. He served in the Marine Corps. from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean War. Robert married the former Joyce A. Willson on November 11, 1967 in Camden, NY, she predeceased him on July 1, 2004. Robert was employed by Camden Collision as a mechanic from 1963 until his retirement in 1995, he then continued to work out of his own garage. Robert enjoyed taking his grandchildren for Sunday car rides.

      Robert is survived by his children, Brenda & Jim Masucci, North Port, FL, Ruby & Robert Walker, Camden, NY, Sandy Armstrong, TN, step-children, Belinda & Robert Fuller, Shirley & Lee Smith, and Debbie Furney, brothers, Harold & Diane Armstrong, Howard Armstrong, all of Camden, NY, brother-in-law, Harold Willson and friend Doug Summers, Rochester, NY, sister-in-laws, Shirley Willson, Rome, NY, and Gail Armstrong, Camden, NY, special granddaughter Hope Walker, 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren

      He is predeceased by his parents, his wife and love of his life, Joyce, his first wife, Phyllis Armstrong, children, Darlene Spink and William J. Armstrong, sisters, Mabel Sloper and Betty Scofield, brothers Joseph and James Armstrong.
      Graveside services with military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, with Pastor David J. Smith officiating. Calling hours will be held from 1:00-3:00 P.M. from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main St., Camden.
