     Scott E. Cox, 59, of Kingman, AZ formerly of Camden, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018. He was born on March 4, 1959 in Muncie, IN, a son of Leslie & Jean Beck Cox. Scott served with the United States Marine Corp. He married the former Amy Alguire on December 1, 1990 in Camden, NY. Scott was most recently employed as a truck driver by Heartland Express, IA prior to his disability and previously Lynn Scott Trucking of Blossvale, NY. He enjoyed riding motorcycles.

     Scott is survived by his wife Amy, two daughters, Sadie Cox, AZ and Ciera Langhorne, VA, one son, Scott & Rana Hall, MI, four step sons, Toby & Marcell Hummel, TX, Dusty & Corrine Hummel, Camden, NY, Jesse Hummel, Munnsville, NY, Willis Hummel, AZ, several grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, one sister, Leszlie Come, AZ, two brothers, Craig & Grace Cox, Grand Rapids, MI and Drew & Lou Anne Cox, Taberg, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, one son, Allen Cox, one daughter, Pamela Hall and two sisters, Laurie Riley and Pamela Ellico.

     Graveside services will be held 11:30 A.M., Thursday, September 13, 2018 from the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, NY under the direction of the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family and/or the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.

Family and friends of Scott Cox, I am greatly sorry for your loss. As my uncle he was the most amazing and charismatic person you could ever know. I will remember all the fun times we had together. Scott was an amazing uncle, father, husband, and friend. I will surely miss him.

My deepest condolences to the family. I used to work at Rowell’s store and when he would come in he always talked about how much he loved his family especially when he was in the road. He was a kind hearted man. RIP Scott.
