     James D. Bain 76, of Camden, NY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday April 7, 2019 at Rome Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan 21, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH a son of James T.  and Loretta Chamberlin Bain. He married the former Helen Anderson in Solvay, NY in 1973. Jim was a driver for most of his working life for Iroquois Tire & Brake, Solvay, NY, Kinney Drug’s, Camden, NY and Mohawk Valley Headstart. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, the Take 5 lottery and playing Yahtzee. He was a fan of the Denver Broncos and NASCAR, especially Jimmy Johnson. He enjoyed traveling, most especially to visit his family attending their events, functions and celebrations. It was his family that he enjoyed the most.

     Surviving besides his wife Helen are two daughters, Wendy & Michael Sobles, Camden, NY,  Kim & Ted Adkins, Kentucky, four sons, Nicholas & Samantha Bain, Georgia, Thomas & Ashley Bain, Taberg, NY, Shawn & LouAnn Bain, Remsen, NY and Terry & Monica Bain, Watertown, NY, 20 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren who call him ‘Papa’, a brother, Paul ‘Glenn’ Bain, Maryville, TN, a sister, Brenda Bain, Ohio and three nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Jeremy.

     Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg, NY. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Memorial contributions may be made to Epilepsy Pralid, Inc., 2 Townline Circle, Suite 6, Rochester, NY 14623
