     David A. ‘Duck Muck’ Finch, Sr., 61 of Rome, NY and a lifelong Camden area resident passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at his home. He was born on May 8, 1958 in Rome, NY a son of Kenneth & Joan Scott Finch. David was a self-employed mechanic, he previously worked for Kennedy Tractor and Davey Joans Farm. He enjoyed assembling model cars, boating, fishing, camping and telling or hearing a good joke.

     David is survived by two daughters, LeeAnn Finch, Williamstown, NY and Christy Finch, one son, David A. Finch, Jr., both of Taberg, NY, twelve grandchildren including “Poppy’s boy,” Nathaniel, mother, Joan Scott, Oswego, NY, his companion, Madeline Parsons, Rome, NY, three sisters, Sandy Price, Parish, NY, Tammy House, Camden, NY and Nancy Lynch, Oswego, NY, four brothers, Kenneth Finch, Florence, NY, Steve Finch, FL, Mike Finch and Robert Finch, both of Westdale, NY and several nieces and nephews.

     Calling hours will be held 2:00-4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2019 from the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Private interment, McConnellsville Cemetery, McConnellsville, NY.

When my ford fairlane gave us problems F.Grinnell Jr. Introduced me to david finch in the 90's he was named duct muck after he used duct tape on everything as i was told of many wild times hr had, he was talented,was a very caring i never went without coffee he will deeply be missed he was my sunshine on a gloomy day his heart was as big as the ocean is wide toward me he taught me how to make things out of nothing just the best all the way around
