Eunice Skinner Hicks 88, of Camden, NY passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2019 at Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville, NY where she had been a resident since March 2019. Eunice was born June 4, 1931 in Mexico, NY the eldest child of Luther & Mildred Miller Skinner. On September 11, 1959 she married William Hicks, Sr. He passed away November 3, 2008. Eunice was a homemaker known for her cooking, love and passion for her family. She was a genuine, sweet and honest woman and loved by all who knew her.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth & Jill Blanchard, Camden, NY, William Hicks, Jr, Pennellville, NY, three daughters, Bonita & Bill Armstrong, Taberg, NY, Debra & Ben Armstrong, Blossvale, NY and Arlene & Kevin Hall, Camden, NY, twelve grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren, four brothers, Luther & Dorothy Skinner, Richard & Betsy Skinner, Milton & Nancy Skinner and David & Marcia Skinner, three sisters, Evelyn Burke, Alice Hinkle and Janice Hilts, several nieces & nephews and her beloved dog, Willy. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Aubrey Hicks, 1979, three brothers-in-law, Richard Burke, Bud Hinkle and Henry Hilts.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday from LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5-8:00pm at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of CNY, 441 W. Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204

My deepest sympathies. Eunice was a beautiful woman. We were so lucky to have her and Bill as our neighbors. She was a gentle and kind woman.

Your mom will be sadly missed, She was a great sister-in-law. I will miss her deeply. We shared a lot of memories. We were there for each other thru thick & thin. Her children & family were the love of her life. Until we meet again RIP my dear sis.
