Walter H. Kramer 82, of Camden, NY passed away May 6, 2020 at the Oneida HealthCare facility where he had been a resident since April. He was born July 10, 1937 in Syracuse, NY a son of Chester & Clara Price Kramer and was a 1955 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius Central School. Following graduation, he worked as a draftsman with the Crouse-Hinds Co., and then the Army Corp of Engineers in Alaska before entering the U.S. Navy in 1960 where he had served for four years. He then returned to the Camden area for a visit which lasted a life time. He worked for Laribee Machine, Ideal Venders in Ontario Canada, Laribee Wire Co., and Laribee Machine and finally MGS Manufacturing in Rome, NY.
His memberships include his Life Membership to the NRA, the New York State Muzzle-Loaders Association, Oneida Rifle Club and Squadron Secretary for the United States Power Squadron, Utica, NY.  His memberships followed his interests and activities from target shooting, reloading ammo, motorcycling through the lower 48 states and a few Canadian Provinces, photography, sailing and flying as a private pilot since 1960.
Surviving are his sister, Clare & Robert Kotary, Floyd, NY, a brother, Louis & Carol Ann Richardson, McMinnville, TN along with nieces & nephews and their families; Michael & Maureen Avery, Cicero Center, NY, Brian & Lauren Richardson, aboard the “S. V. Echo”, Second Lt. Steven & Hannah Richardson, Milton, FL, Christopher & Vicki Kotary, Floyd, NY and very close friends, David & Mary DeFrees, Oneida, NY and several cousins and numerous friends.
Due to the covid-19 restrictions and in keeping with Walter's wishes, there will be no formal services. Funeral arrangements under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY.  Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Camden Public Library, Camden, NY.   You may view obituary and send a message of condolence online at www.larobardierefuneralhome.com

We will miss Walt both at the Oneida Rifle Club and especially I will miss his frequent visits at my sugar house. Walt stopped in often both in season and out to say hello and talk a while, often on a shopping trip or more often a Dr. appointment, or both.
