Linda L. Wisheart 72, of Blossvale, NY passed away at her home on Tuesday May 5, 2020 after a long illness. She was born April 20, 1948 in Ft. Meade, MD a daughter of Harold & Mary Moon Sternburg and was a 1966 graduate of Hamilton High School. On September 1, 1969 she married Carlton S. Wisheart in El Paso, TX and later they renewed their vows in Florence, NY in 1982. Linda worked as a receptionist for the Mohawk Valley Community Action in Marcy, NY for several years and worked previously with the cafeteria staff at J.D. George Elementary School, Verona, NY for many years.  Linda enjoyed traveling and was a Past President of the Rome V.F.W. Post #2246 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Missy Matthews, Camden, NY, Connie Wisheart, Blossvale, NY, five grandchildren, James Matthews III, Lauren Addison & Kenzie Caron, Justin , Michael, and Trevor Addison and one great grandson, Kutter James, four sisters, Heather, Kathleen, Theresa and Jeannie, two brothers, Gary and John along with several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Chris and a sister, Sheila.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions funeral arrangements under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY are private. There will be a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. I'm so sorry for your loss.. Linda was the niceset person I met. Her door was always open and her house was always full. She will never be forgotten for all of the wonderful things she did and said, her beauty inside and out...Love you Linda, Thank you for everything!!
