Zella F. Taylor, 76, of Cleveland, NY passed away Wednesday May 6, 2020 at Oneida Healthcare ECF where she had been a resident since 2017. She was born in Rome, NY the daughter of Edward and Zella Allen Bormann. Zella was a “Brat”,  ready with a smile and witticism. Zella was a member of Vienna United Methodist Church and was active in many church committees, especially outreach programs, she enjoyed nature walks, scrabble, bird watching, helping others and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin Thomas of Cleveland, NY and Jennifer and Gary Colburn of Bernard’s Bay, NY, four grandchildren; Ricky & Abigail Thomas, Courtney & Dan Yawman, Taylor Colburn & Stephanie Murphy and Morgan Colburn, one sister Erma Gerow of Rome, NY along with several nieces and nephews. Zella was predeceased by her parents, one grandson, Jeremy Thomas, two brothers, Donald and Edward (Butch) Bormann, two sisters Dorothy Wood and Raye Russell. Zella was previously married to Frank A. Taylor.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Oneida ECF that provided such wonderful care to Zella since 2017.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, funeral arrangements under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY are private. Memorial services will take place at a later date. Interment Maple Flats Cemetery, Cleveland, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Vienna United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 64, North Bay, NY 13123 in lieu of flowers.

So sorry for your loss!! She was such a jokester with me...always called ME ‘the brat’. I hadn’t seen her for several years but we always had a good time when we were together!! Special memories of her will hold a dear place in my heart. Love y’all so much! Sending prayers and love!!! Miss y’all so much.

Rest In Peace Zella. No matter the weather Heather is here. Zella would say that to me every single time I saw her. You will be missed dearly. Condolences to the family.
