Gary E. Kroll, 64, of Camden, NY passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. He was born in Rome, NY on May 11, 1956, a son of Edwin & Irene Willson Kroll and was a 1974 graduate of Camden High School. Gary was a self-employed logger alongside his father with Ed Kroll & Sons Logging for many years. He retired from the Town of Camden and had previously worked at the Camden P&C. He had a passion for dirt cars and raced them for many years.

Gary is survived by his wife, Cindy, a daughter, Melissa Kroll & Brian Loiodice, Whitesboro, a son, Mike Kroll, Rome, three grandchildren, Hunter, Kaleb, and Lily, a sister, Victoria & Fred Marriott, West Leyden, two nephews, Frederick and Christopher, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Michael Kroll, in 1981.

Calling hours will be held Sunday from 12-2pm at LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. Graveside service Monday, 1:30pm in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden. Masks and social distancing requirements shall apply. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Camden Volunteer Fire Department.

I am so sorry for the loss of your husband and family member. I went to school with Gary, we graduated together. Rich Snell, Herb Willson, we were all good friends. Prayers for all the family.
