Thomas W. Jackson, Jr. 80, of Pulaski, NY formerly of Redfield, NY passed away Friday Feb 12, 2021 at University Hospital, Syracuse, NY. He was born in Syracuse, NY on July 26, 1940 a son of Thomas & Dorothy Perkins Jackson. Thomas served with the U.S. Navy from 1959-1961. He retired from New Process Gear, Syracuse, NY after 30 years of employment in 1994 as a tool and layout inspector. He spent most of his life in Redfield, NY moving from Syracuse. Thomas served as Judge for the Town of Redfield for nearly 15 years. He also loved to hunt, fish, ride motorcycle, read and do cross word puzzles. His favorite place was near the water, lake, pond or stream. He wintered in Deland, FL for many years. Tom was a member of the Hastings-Gorski American Legion Post #1128, Williamstown, NY and the AMVETS Association.
Surviving besides his wife, Clairette Nadeau Dionne Jackson, a daughter, Tammy & Lou Cione, Ohio, two step-daughters, Linda Amo, Redfield, NY and Dorrine Smith, Sandy Creek, NY, two step-sons, Peter Dionne, Parish, NY and Brian & Michon Dionne, Utica, NY, 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Dorothy Palmoski, Kathy Jackson and Michelle Capp, several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Thomas, 1994, a sister, Virginia Calkins, 2002 and a brother, David, 2020.
Funeral services will be held at a later date with Military Honors under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Redfield Vol. Fire Dept., in Tom’s memory.
