Eleanor E. Urtz 81, of Camden, NY passed away Thursday March 4, 2021 at Colonial Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, Rome, NY where she had been a resident. She was born June 15, 1939 in Camden, NY a daughter of Everett & Marion Waterman Alvord and was a 1957 graduate of Camden High School. Eleanor worked at Camden Wire Co., prior to her marriage. She married George Urtz on July 6, 1968 in West Leyden, NY. Eleanor attended the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, George, a sister, Sheree & Rick Kellogg, Orwell, NY and a brother, Lloyd & Janice Alvord, Camden, NY and several nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank the Colonial Park Nursing staff for their care and compassion shown to Eleanor over the years.
Spring burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, NY under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden, NY. There will be no calling hours or other services. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church, Camden, NY.
