We will sure miss Marietta. There was no one like her. She made us laugh while we worked in difficult circumstances. She was so excited to have grandchildren. I'm glad she got to see Charlotte
We will never forget her.

We are so sorry for your loss, it has been so long, there were so many cousins growing up, then we lost touch and were scattered to the wind. But thinking of her brings back very fond memories of growing up together.

Marietta was a dear sister friend to me and was known as Aunt Marietta to my daughters. Marietta and I shared 35 years of family friendship and she brought great joy and laughter to my life. Marietta was my confidant and always supported me and my family. We loved to cook together, sharing many holidays meals and so many memorable life events. She held my hand when RaeLynne was born and saw RaeLynne before I did! She loved Amy and RaeLynne as if they were her own and celebrated their life events with joy. Danny was her pride and joy and she delighted in his new family, Sara and Charlotte. Marietta was very excited to announce the pending birth of her grandson. Marietta was a Catholic Christian and had a very strong faith in Jesus. I find comfort knowing that I will see her again in Heaven.

My deepest condolences to the Reidy and Mitchell family for your loss. Marietta will be dearly missed by many. Of all the abilities God gave her, sharing joy was my favorite. She was a hoot! To think of her is to smile. Her great laugh, spunky nature and welcoming heart just enveloped you. Like a big mother hen, she was the sort of person who made you feel at home immediately. Her warmth was comforting and she was comfortable to be around. Marietta effortlessly put a smile on many faces and will continue to do so as we each remember the blessed times we had with her in joy and the love she so easily shared. May God’s peace be with you all and your memories of Marietta comfort you during this time. With sympathy, Cindy

Sending my deepest condolences to the family. Marietta was a firecracker and knew how to get things moving along while we were working in the field. It was always a pleasure to work with her and she kept me laughing. She will be missed immensely.
