Anna Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Anderson 84, of Camden, NY passed away May 19, 2021 at Bethany Gardens Skilled Living Center, Rome, NY. She was born May 18, 1937 in Ludwigsburg, Czechoslovak a daughter of Alfred & Hedwig Felgenhauer Eberl and came to the United States in 1958. Liz never had a car and walked to where ever she could. Often times people would ask her if she’d like a ride. She respectfully always declined their gracious offer, in good weather and bad. She and her family would like to say ‘thank you’ to all of you that did offer her a ride over the years. It certainly was appreciated by her and her family.  Liz was the cook for Val Haven Home for Adults, Camden, NY for over 30 years. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed spending time on her front porch, having tea and bird watching, especially her favorite Cardinal.
Surviving are her son, Michael & Colleen Anderson, Sylvan Beach, NY, three grandchildren, Dustin & Stephanie Anderson, Oneida, NY, Eric & Tamara Anderson, Chittenango, NY and Karley Anderson, Blossvale, NY, four great grandchildren, Sydney, Mia, Jase and Logan along with nieces, nephews and two special people, Lee and Jere Anderson. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a step brother and step sister all of which lived in Germany.
Funeral arrangements under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street. Camden, NY are private. There will be no calling hours. Interment will take place in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to a Humane Society of one’s choice

I grew up on Mill St. and remember Mrs. Anderson walking everywhere. She used to sit on her neighbor, Gladys Pinkman's, porch socially many a nights. Very nice lady. Condolences to the family.
