Kenneth James Wysluzaly, 75 of Camden, NY passed away Sunday July 25, 2021 at Bethany Gardens Skilled Living Center. Ken’s loving family was at his side when the Lord took him home. He was born in Utica, NY on January 19, 1946 a son of Victor & Dorothy Hungerford Wysluzaly and was a 1964 graduate of Sauquoit Valley Central High School. He proudly served his nation for a span of 27 years in the U.S. Army. During that time, he participated in many different actions including Operation Desert Storm and deployment with the 107th Military police in the aftermath of 9-11. His civilian occupation was a mechanic. At the end of his workday as mechanic, for many years, he went to a second job in varied retail settings and security positions.
Ken had multiple interests and hobbies including; Dallas Cowboys football, NASCAR, golf, tennis, cooking, fishing and target shooting. He had been on a bowling league, member of the Rome Polish Home and Veteran’s of Foreign Wars. He initiated and attended monthly gatherings with other veterans that he had served with.
On December 8, 2007, he married the former Sharon Kellogg in Camden, NY. Together, they enjoyed traveling to visit family living in other states and seeing the sites. As members of the Abundant Life Community Church they served in the youth center, as greeters, in the meal ministry and as leaders of the midweek fellowship/bible study.
Surviving besides his loving wife are, his pride and joy, his children; Carol & Daniel Sciortino, CA, James & Lisa Wysluzaly, Benson, NC, Kenneth Wysluzaly & fiance’ Ethel Weeks, Burlington Flats, NY, Melissa & Scot Clark, Richfield Springs, NY, Pamela & Josh Nestved, FL, Joseph & Ashten Wysluzaly, Winter Spring, FL, Jeffrey Wysluzaly & fiance’ Paulina Frac, Whitesboro, NY, three step children, Tamara Clarke Rochester, WA, Eva & Craig Stockhauser, Holland Patent, NY and David & Jaime Platt, Idaho Falls, ID, 22 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a sister -in- law, Lisa Wysluzaly, West Winfield, NY and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Victor Wysluzaly, Jr. and Dale Wysluzaly, a sister, Rose Ann Cooper and a sister -in- law, Charlene Wysluzaly. His family wish to thank the staff at Bethany Gardens for the compassionate care they rendered to hm. Mere words fail to express our deep appreciation.
Memorial services will be held 7:00pm Thursday August 12, 2021 at LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment will take place in Arlington National Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 5 -7 pm prior to services at the funeral home, 109 Main Street. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.

Sharon and family..... I am so very sorry for your loss. I will miss "Sam" so much. He was a sweetheart. Only good, fond memories are mine of him. Remember the acorns he picked for me ? Rest in Peace, Ken. I'm praying for you, Sharon and your family too. I love you..... Rosie
