  Richard C. Farnsworth 90, of Hastings, NY and formerly of the Amboy/Williamstown area passed away at his home on Monday August 2, 2021.
He was born in Pittsfield, NY on Feb 6, 1931 a son of Herbert & Isabell Haskins Farnsworth. He was married to the former Thelma Kennedy, she passed away Feb 16, 2012. They had lived in Tupper Lake, NY before moving to the Amboy/Williamstown area. Mr. Farnsworth drove truck for the North Country Dress Manufacturing Co., delivering dresses to the New York City market on a regular basis. Later he worked with Elliott’s Logging and he   retired as a caretaker for the Three Pillars Resort and Campgrounds in Tupper Lake, NY. He enjoyed camping and was a pretty good backyard mechanic.
Surviving are two daughters, Anne Farnsworth, Hastings, NY and Florence Kennedy Rumsey, Adams, NY, a son, Douglas Farnsworth, Amboy, NY, six grandchildren, Mark Bishop, Kim Bishop, Jeff Ormsby, James Nason, Jessica Petrie and Sarah Harris, eight great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents and siblings, he was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Bishop, Nov 12, 2020.
Private services will be held under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central New York, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY.

One Of Life's Greatest Blessing Is The Special Love Of Family <3 I have so many memories of all the fun we had and a lot of them are with the horses you had. Love and miss you Uncle <3 God bless you Uncle and thank you for all you tough me. <3
