Frank P. Salerno 65, of Blossvale, NY passed away Sunday October 10, 2021at Oneida HealthCare. He was born in Utica, NY on December 20, 1955, a son of Bernard & Jeanne Dwyer Salerno. Frank served with the U. S. Navy from 1974-1975. He worked at Harden Furniture and Sylvan Springs Water Dept., for nearly 15 years prior to retiring due to disability. He was a former member of the American Legion and loved to work on lawn mowers and small engine repair. On October 24, 1981 he married the former Mary Kipp in Oneida, NY.

Surviving are his wife Mary and beloved family, two daughters, Valerie Salerno & Craig Bennett, Oneida, NY
Ashlee Salerno & Dan Jones, Blossvale, NY, a son, Frank P. Salerno II and Melissa Blanchard, Blossvale, NY, five grandchildren; Blaytlyn, Madison, Orionna, Lilly and Ellie, five sisters, Angela & Tom Phillips, Tully, NY, Theresa McConnell, Fay & Steve Burning, all of Sylvan Beach, NY, Betty & Fred Cook, Louise & Alan Brown all of Blossvale, NY, his dog, Kinder and several nieces & nephews.The family would like to thank the Oneida HealthCare fourth Floor Nursing Staff and Drs. Vanderhoof, McKay, Reid and DelPino for their care and compassion. And a special thank you to my nephew, John Claflin.

Graveside services will be held 11:00am Friday in McConnellsville Cemetery under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., Camden, NY. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Taberg Fire Hall.
