CAMDEN- Virginia ‘Ginny’ B. Ware, 77, of Curtis Rd, went to be with the Lord on June 20,2011, at Oneida Healthcare Center. She was born on June 20, 1934 in Alton, NY, a daughter of Harry and Irene Ginegaw Ware and loving stepfather, Claude Whitehead. Virginia spent most of her adult life in Turin, NY, with her lifelong companion, Clarence Brown. After Brownie’s passing she moved to Camden in 2001. She worked at Brantingham Resort, Snow Ridge, Kalet Nursing Home, and Harden Furniture. Virginia attended the Florence Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorrine & Bruce Dalton, granddaughter, Blossom, grandson, Jamey, three great grandsons, and former son-in-law, Doug Noftsier, all of Ohio, two special nieces and nephews, Barbara Marshall & Ray Metott, Camden, and Margaret & Dave Skinner, North Bay, several other nieces, great nieces, nephews, and great nephews. Virginia was predeceased by her lifelong companion, Brownie, her mother and father, and two sister and brother-in-laws, Bernice & Howard McAdoo and Helen & Carl Collins.
Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 17, 2011, 1:00 p.m, at the Florence Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc., 109 Main Street, Camden. There are no calling hours. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Virginia’s memory to the Florence Methodist Church
